Is this a house or a condo?

             This is a condominium resort. It is located on 43 acres in the Holiday Isle section of Destin, Florida.  The condo comes with a resort for the same price.

 Is this condo on the beach? 

            No. This condo is about 220 steps to the beach.  It takes about 2 minutes to walk from the condo to the beach.  If this condo were right on the beach, the rental rates would be about 3 to 4 times what we charge.

Can I see the water from this house?

             No. You can see the pool, which is directly in front of the condo. Once you walk from the condo to the beach pavilion, you will then see the Gulf.  You are saving substantially to take a 2-minute walk to see the water.  You can sit on the pavilion as long as you like. 

What are the other fees? 

           The only charge is the rent, the cleaning fee and Florida State sales tax.

 Is the pool and beach pavilion included? 

            Yes. All the resort facilities belong to the homeowners association; the use of them is included in the rent. 

Do you have beach service? (Chairs on the beach.) 

            Yes, there is a small daily fee for beach service. It is seasonal.  Kay's Condo has its own chairs and umbrella.  

Where is the condo located in Destin? 

            The condo is on Holiday Isle, a peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor in Destin Florida. It occupies the land between Hwy 98 and the beach. 

 Is the pool heated? 

            Yes. Two of the five pools are open all year and are heated to about 85 degrees in the cooler seasons. 

Can I have a wedding at the Pavilion?

             Yes. You can set up everything there under shelter in case of rain and have the wedding on the beach.  You can contact our homeowner’s association manager for details. The pavilion has electric.

 What do I need to bring to KAY's Condo?

            Food.  We have everything else.  You may want to bring your beach towels, toys for the beach and pool.  We provide TV and VCR .  You may bring your own games and videotapes.  A coin washer and dryer facility is located right by the pool. We have all kitchen equipment, like refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, all plates, dishes, cups, cooking pots and pans.

 Is the cleaning included?

             Yes.  We have the unit professionally cleaned immediayely before and after your stay.  We do not have daily maid service.  There is a vacuum and brooms and dust pans should you need them during your trip.

 What do I do if I have a problem while on vacation?

             Sandpiper Cove has a full time maintenance department. You call them; they fix it and send me the bill. We also have a local property manager. You will have his phone numbers and he is glad to help. You also may contact us at anytime while you are on vacation and we will see that you get immediate assistance.

What is there to do in DESTIN?

             This list is endless.  Destin grows each year.  It is a resort town.  It caters to people on vacation.  Here is a short list of activities: fishing, boating, biking, shopping, golf and more golf, go-carts, more shopping, parasailing, dune buggies, water parks, air force museum, site seeing, jet ski rentals, many quality restaurants, plus much more.
